Community Nurses

Community Nurses

District Nurses are attached to our practice and  work in conjunction with the GP's. They offer a comprehensive nursing service such as home nursing care, support to carers, care of the elderly and advice. Assessment is always made by a qualified district nursing sister. They can be contacted by telephoning the surgery and leaving a message with a member of the reception team who will contact them.

 Health Visitors

Health Visitors are trained nurses promoting good health to our patients in the community and meet with patients in their own homes. Health Visitors will advise on many aspects of health, particularly child health, development and behaviour.  They can be contacted via the surgery by passing a message to the reception team who will contact them.

 Midwives

Community Midwives provide care and advice to expectant mums before and after childbirth and can be contacted by telephoning 01429 522279.
