 PRESCRIPTIONS - Due to the problems we are all facing with Coronavirus (Covid - 19) the practice will accept prescription requests over the telephone, for the foreseeable future, for patients who have no access to the internet.  We have taken this action to reduce the risks to patients attending the surgery unnecessarily.  We also recommend patients nominate a pharmacy of their choice to enable us to send prescriptions electronically.

ONLINE ACCESS:  For Online Access please click on either of the links at the bottom of the Home Page which say:  "Order Your Repeat Prescription Securely Online" OR "Request an Appointment with a GP" - this will then give you the System Online Page where you key in your username and password we gave you.  Note: be very careful when keying is as it is case sensitive 

CANCER SUPPORT GROUP - Group meets every fortnight on a Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 at West View Advice & Resource Centre, Miers Avenue, Hartlepool TS24 9JQ - Tel: Dawn (01429) 271275 or email dawn@wvarc30.org.uk for more information.  Upcoming sessions are 10 January 2017 then fortnightly thereafter.

Practice Management

The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the appropriate Healthcare professional depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions, dealing with patient queries and maintain detailed and accurate medical records.
